The Ministry of Employment has the overall responsibility for measures in relation to all groups of unemployed persons, i.e. both unemployed persons on social assistance as well as unemployed persons receiving unemployment benefits.
ADDRESSING THE ISSUES
The service is important to the ministry as it brings value to its individual units, as well as providing information on employee satisfaction generally throughout the whole organisation.
The ministry needed a customised solution so individual units could include questions relating to issues of special interest. It was also required that Epinion provided individual reports relating to each unit.
In total, this meant 132 reports were needed and 13 different units would supply unique questions. The study, therefore, required equired highly skilled and experienced project management.
By sending out individual emails inviting each employee at the ministry to participate, we were able to develop a customised survey that accommodated the requirement for different questions for each unit. Using our advanced survey setup system, we were able to ensure that each respondent only received the relevant questions. Because of this intensive focus on the data collection process, the project had a high response rate, a key aspect of ensuring high data quality.
The reporting phase required an extensive focus on project management due to the numbers of reports and our focus on ensuring high quality standards..
